But what most of the dog owners cannot understand is that dog’s also need to be taken care just like humans take care of themselves. They are not simply play things for you and your family. They too have a heart and a body to be taken care of. Let’s start with dog food. Stay away from over feeding. If you start feeding your dog too much at an early age then there are chances of him falling ill or suffering from a deficient health. One should know the right quantities of food with which the dog is to be fed. An adult dog needs to be served not more than twice a day. Small puppies need adequate food quantity in order to grow up big and strong. Serve them smaller meals at lesser intervals of time. Gradually reduce the serves as they grow up no matter how much they dance around you for food. Focus on nutritious diets for your dogs as they also need vitamins and minerals to grow healthy and remain active. |

The best thing you can do for the happiness of your dog is to make him socialize. This way he will not be an angry dog at any moment, he will not be a danger to any other dogs or to other persons. Whenever you take you dog outside you should never give up the leash and collar. Yet I am sure you have taught your dog to stay near you even if he is not wearing a leash you never know what could happen. He might get distracted but if you also have a tag and license attached to the collar there are more chances that you get your dog back.
